What is Election Duty Software?
Election Duty Software (चुनाव ड्यूटी प्रबंधन प्रणाली) is a police election duty management system. It allocates booth duty automatically from the booth norm (booths × centre category × post), manages LOR, picket, barrier, QRT, FST/SST and magistrate duty, and prints QR duty cards and booklets.
Is there an election duty mobile application?
Yes. Duty staff use the Android election duty app with mobile OTP login to see their duty, show a signed QR, mark geo-tagged selfie attendance and raise SOS to the control room.
Which elections does it support?
Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, bye-elections and urban local body (nagar nikay) and panchayat elections, district by district, each district with its own separate database.
How are absentees replaced on booth duty?
The absentee's district sends a person of the same post; the new person is entered against the absentee's PNO and takes the same booth duty, recorded in the change register.
